Which airlines fly from Terminal 3?
Fourteen airlines operate from Terminal 3. If you're flying American or Southwest, you want Terminal 4 instead.

Where pickups happen at Terminal 3
Rideshare pickups (Uber, Lyft) use the south outer curb, except its far east end, and the far east end of the north outer curb. Order your ride once you have your bags and are ready to walk out; the airport asks riders not to request early.
A private car works differently. With Nier, your chauffeur tracks your flight and either meets you inside at baggage claim with a name sign or texts you a door number at the curb, timed to when you actually walk out. There's no app queue and the fare was set when you booked.
Getting to the Sky Train from Terminal 3
The Terminal 3 Sky Train platform is on Level 5. From Ticketing on Level 4, take the escalators up into the station, then up again to the platform. The train is free, runs 24 hours, and connects Terminal 3 to Terminal 4, the 24th Street station, the Rental Car Center, East Economy parking and the 44th Street light rail station.
Terminal 3 construction (2026–2027)
Sky Harbor is building a second North Concourse at Terminal 3: about 173,000 square feet with six new gates, a mezzanine lounge and an outdoor terrace. The airport puts the budget at $368 million and expects completion in 2027. Until then, check the airport's roadway restrictions page before driving in, and leave a little extra time.
Free cell phone waiting lots
Sky Harbor has three free cell phone waiting lots, all open 24 hours. Anyone picking you up should wait there until you're outside with your bags; the terminal curbs are enforced and drivers who circle get moved along. The airport asks drivers to stay with their vehicle and keep waits to 30 minutes or less.
