Smoke 'N The Desert is back for 2026, and PHX Cigar Week runs Thursday, October 8 through Sunday, October 11 — four days of premium cigars, live music, nightlife and networking spread across the Valley. The organizers sum it up as "4 Days, 10 Events, 1 Helluva Weekend," and the weekend centers on Saturday's outdoor Cigar & Music Festival in Downtown Chandler. Cigar aficionados, first-timers, professionals and visitors flying in from around the country all end up in the same lounges by Sunday. Here's the schedule, what to know about tickets, and the part that's easy to overlook when your weekend spans six cities: how you'll get from one event to the next.

When Is Smoke 'N The Desert 2026?

October 8–11, 2026. Events run all four days in Phoenix, Tempe, Mesa, Chandler, Scottsdale and Glendale, with the signature festival on Saturday, October 10, starting at 2 pm. Lineups like this can shift, so check the official schedule at smokenthedesert.com before you lock in plans.

The Saturday Festival in Downtown Chandler

The main event is the Smoke 'N The Desert Cigar & Music Festival on Saturday, October 10, at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park East, right in the middle of Downtown Chandler. It's an outdoor, afternoon-into-evening festival with premium cigar brands, live music and entertainment, food and drinks, and lifestyle vendors, and it's where the whole PHX Cigar Week community comes together in one place. Two things to know before you go: the festival is 21+, and tickets are required.

Downtown Chandler is a great setting for it — restaurants, bars and the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Chandler are all within a few blocks of the park — but on festival day, the nearby parking and the streets around the park fill up fast.

Tickets, Passes and Where to Stay

Weekend passes are sold through the official site in two tiers: General Admission, which covers the weekend's general events, and VIP, with elevated access across the weekend. Some events are ticketed on their own, so check each one on the schedule. Prices and availability change as the weekend approaches, so buy directly from smokenthedesert.com rather than at the door.

Coming in from out of town? The event has a group room block at the Hilton Garden Inn Downtown Chandler — mention Smoke 'N The Desert when you book. It puts you a short walk from the festival and close to several of the weekend's official experiences.

Getting Around a Six-City Weekend

Here's the honest part. Smoke 'N The Desert doesn't happen in one venue — it moves. Thursday starts in Downtown Phoenix and ends in Tempe or Ahwatukee. Friday goes from a Mesa lounge to a Tempe rooftop that runs until 1 am. Saturday is Mesa in the morning and Chandler all afternoon and night. Sunday splits between Scottsdale and Glendale, which sit on opposite sides of the Valley. Add a weekend of cigars and cocktails, and driving yourself stops making sense by Thursday night.

You've got three options: designate a driver for four straight days (someone always draws the short straw), stitch the weekend together with rideshares that surge the minute a venue lets out, or book it once and stop thinking about it.

That last option is what we do. Our special event transportation in Phoenix gets your group to every stop and picks you up the minute you're ready, and an hourly chauffeur works well for a full day of lounge-hopping — your driver waits nearby while you're inside, so there's no waiting on the curb for a ride after the after-party. Traveling with friends or your organization? A luxury SUV or Sprinter keeps everyone together, and our group transportation handles the planning. Flying in? We'll meet you at Phoenix Sky Harbor — about 25 minutes from Downtown Chandler — and have you at your hotel or the first event on time.

Smoke 'N The Desert FAQ

When is Smoke 'N The Desert 2026?

Thursday, October 8 through Sunday, October 11, 2026, with events across the Phoenix metro area.

Where is the Cigar & Music Festival?

At Dr. A.J. Chandler Park East in Downtown Chandler on Saturday, October 10, starting at 2 pm.

Is the festival 21+?

Yes. The festival is for guests 21 and older, and a ticket is required.

Do I have to be a cigar expert to go?

Not at all. The weekend is open to longtime aficionados and newcomers alike, and plenty of people come for the music, the food and the community as much as the cigars.

What's the best way to get between events?

Plan your rides before the weekend starts. The events are spread across six cities, several run late into the night, and you'll be enjoying cigars and drinks along the way. A pre-booked chauffeur means one plan for the whole weekend instead of a new ride every few hours.

Bringing a group? Book your rides as soon as you've got your passes — October weekends fill our calendar quickly, and PHX Cigar Week is one of the busiest weekends of the month.
